Our Story
Having worked as an early childhood teacher over the last ten years I have always known that one day I would love to create my own centre. Having cared for many children that have spent most of their waking hours in childcare, I wanted to create a place that feels like home. A haven, where children and their families feel a deep sense of belonging, relationships are nurtured, and children have a strong connection to their environment where they feel safe and secure.
Small centres are rare in Auckland, so when I found this beautiful space in Belmont, I knew I could really get to know all the children and their families and support them through the first five years of early childhood. They say it takes a village to raise a child. We want The Haven to be your village.
